What happens when I become a ‘Becas con Bendiciones’ donor?
Donor highlights:
Donors receive pictures and possibly communications from students. They are encouraged to pray for students in the program and write to them. Donors receive communications several times a year that focus on the work of the Becas program.
Funds received from donors provide the following:
Uniforms (skirt, pants, shirts, shoes, socks, PE uniforms and tennis shoes), Backpacks, Matriculation Fees (where applicable), School Supplies, Local school Fees (security guards and maintenance), A New Bible, Multivitamins for each student and parasite medicine for all family members
Non-specific donations are used as follows:
Transportation expenses for children who must travel on public transportation to school; Graduation expenses for 6th and 9th grade students (diploma, picture, class project and special uniform); End of year “Celebration” for all students; Basic food products for families.
